Paul P. Harris once famously said, "Service above self is the key to a fulfilling life."  It truly is.  I know personally that when I have struggled the most, the best way to shift my energy, is to help someone else.   Creating a culture of "Service Above Self" within your Rotary Club begins with embodying the core values that define our mission: service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership. I believe our club leads by example, demonstrating a genuine commitment to serving others in every action we take. We have several service projects that are currently being organized.  From the Window Dressers project to the Bangor Marathon and Half.   We all have the opportunity to participate and contribute. If you have not signed up to help, consider how you can be a part.   In the process, we will not only inspire current members but also attract like-minded individuals who share a passion for making a difference.

You can foster a culture of service not only in our club, but also in your company/organization. When you cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment where every member feels valued and empowered, you encourage open communication and  input from all members.  Prioritize connection and you create a sense of belonging and purpose that motivates members to consistently put "Service Above Self."
